What personal data do we collect?

What do we do with your information?

We will read your message and normally respond to you either via telephone or via email.

Your enquiry is stored on email by the customer services team, and is permanently deleted once your query has been resolved. Your personal data is not shared by any Third Party, and it is not sent outside of the European Economic Area (EEA).

Customer complaints information, including personal data, is stored in secured folders on the H&A Access database and the H&A Quality drive, which is hosted by Microsoft. Your information is not sent outside of the European Economic Area (EEA). It may however be shared with our insurance company, currently DeFord.

Customer complaints personal information is deleted permanently after eight years. A paper copy of complaints resulting in dispute between the complainant and H&A is kept indefinitely in a secure location at H&A offices.

We have a contractual agreement with all our Third Parties that commit them to providing an appropriate level of safeguards for your personal data.

We do not use the information you provide to make any automated decisions that might affect you.

We do not retain personal information for marketing purposes.

Your rights as a data subject

By law, you can ask us what information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate. If we have asked for your consent to process your personal data, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

If we are processing your personal data for reasons of consent or legitimate interest, you can request that your data be erased.
